Writing
Here are some pictures from the story. Can you have a go at writing some sentences to go with these.
We would like you to create your own Life Cycle of Butterfly, non-fiction book. The book will need a front cover, a title, your name, a back cover and it will need to show the four stages of the butterflies life-cycle. If you really want to challenge yourself you could write a sentence on the back cover for your blurb. This week's topic home-learning has some videos that will help you with this.
Phonics
We have now covered all phase 3 sounds and tricky words. In preparation for Foundation Stage returning to school, we have provided a phase 2 and 3 sound and sight word assessment for you to go through with your child. This will highlight any sounds or sight words that need to be practised.
