Junior Commissioners
Our Junior Commissioners are a group of Year 6 children who have a desire to make our Onchan community even better. They have meetings at Onchan Commissioners where they share their ideas and are given projects to complete back at school.
Their first task this year was to give opinions on the facilities at Onchan Park. They went for a walk around the park and annotated ideas on maps. There were brilliant ideas ranging from painting walls to adding a skate park. After all of this hard work, they had time for a quick round of (very windy) crazy golf! They have now shared these ideas at a meeting and they are under consideration.
Junior Commissioners are currently working on recycling advertisement campaigns.
