At Onchan School we use TEAMS to send our week's home learning home.
We also encourage children to use following websites to practice their reading, writing and times tables. If you have given consent, your child will have personal log in details for these websites.

Times Tables Rock Stars - A fantastic resource for practicing timetables!
Spelling Shed - Use Spelling Shed to practice spellings aimed at each year group.
Read Theory - On this website, comprehension activities will be assigned to them depending on what reading level they are working at. The texts and questions will change depending on how they score.

WhiteRose Home Learning - (KS1 and KS2) WhiteRose have short videos that match the skills we teach at Onchan School. You can pause the video at certain points so children can try different questions independently before the answer is revealed.
Topmarks Maths - (KS1 and KS2) Interactive maths games to consolidate basic maths skills.
Numberblocks - (KS1) Singalong songs and games to consolidate number facts.
NRich - (KS2 and KS2) NRich provides excellent resources that focus on problem solving skills.
Literacy - Reading and Writing
Pobble - (aimed at KS2) A free, ready made writing prompt to encourage story writing!
Phonics Play - (aimed at KS1) A site packed with interactive phonics games.
Topmarks Literacy - (KS1 and KS2) Interactive maths games to consolidate grammar and spelling skills.
Alphablocks App - (KS1) an app designed to make learning about the alphabet fun!
BBC Bitesize - (KS1 and KS2) BBC Bitesize is an excellent website to practice literacy and maths skills. They also cover other subject areas (eg. History, RE) if you want to do some extra learning on your topics being covered in school.
