This half term our SDG focus is upon SDGs 5 and 16. We chose these two in particular as they lend themselves to key events that happen within this half term such as Remembrance and Christmas.
Our whole school SOLE questions to explore these SDGs are:
5 – Gender Equality
- Why are women sometimes treated differently to men?
- Should men and women be paid the same?
16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
- Will we ever achieve world peace?
- Is justice always fair?
- Why do we need law and enforcement?
