Year 2 were treated to a super STEAM workshop with Adrian from Young Engineers this afternoon! He talked to them about how they are already amazing at all these skills (science, technology, engineering, arts, maths) and have been doing them all since they were babies. He then explained that because they had been learning about The Romans they were going to have a go at building their own see-saw model today, which in Romans times would have been used as a catapult! The children worked so well in their pairs and it was wonderful to see the collaboration and how determined they were to make their see-saw balance using trial and error.
