History

In History today, we learnt all about Bonfire Night and how to stay safe while celebrating with our families. We shared our own traditions and talked about the exciting ways people enjoy the night. Next, we discovered the fascinating story behind The Gunpowder Plot. To make our learning come to life, everyone took on a role and acted out the story together. Afterwards, we reflected on what we had learnt and worked together to put the key events of the Gunpowder Plot in order. It was a brilliant way to understand why we still celebrate Bonfire Night today!
