INTEGRITY - RESPECT - ENDEAVOUR - COMPASSION - COURAGE
We have enjoyed starting our Harvest topic by reading The Gruffalo. When we arrived at school, we discovered some mysterious footprints! They were very large and must have belonged to the Gruffalo himself. We’ve completed lots of exciting activities, such as making our own stick puppet characters and spiral snakes. We also created our own Gruffalos using play dough, carefully adding prickles, tusks, and terrible claws!
In outdoor learning, we made our own Gruffalo crumbles using natural materials like leaves, twigs, and berries, and went on a Gruffalo hunt through the woods to see if we could spot any clues. In Drawing Club, we had great fun drawing our own Gruffalos and inventing secret codes that made them do some very strange things! Our imaginations ran wild as we continued our Drawing Club adventures — meeting new characters such as spiders and even trekking all the way to a volcano!
