Time to Talk - Remebrance

In our time to talk session this week, we discussed Remembrance Day. We discussed different ways we can remember those who made sacrifices for our country. We talked about how we can wear poppies, we can do 2 minute silence and we can also use music. We listened to 'We'll Meet Again' and The Last Post. We passed round a cornet which might be used for the last post and spoke about the significance of the military call. The children then went into their groups and talked about who they might think about during our 2 minute silence on remembrance day.
