Our KS1 Reading Star award celebrates those children who have been reading superstars during the past week.
The award reflects learning taking place at home and within school. This means they can earn the award by reading at home or by impressing adults in school. It also takes into account their use of phonics and how they apply their learning in other areas of the curriculum.
Children will receive a certificate in class on a Friday afternoon and be able to choose an item from their class reward box.
