To finish our celebration, the children took part in a Teddy Bears’ Picnic. We all had a brilliant time together, sharing a very special day with our favourite cuddly friends. We started the morning by making fairy cakes and carefully decorating them, before preparing our own sandwiches with a variety of fillings. The children enjoyed choosing, spreading and assembling their picnic food independently, developing their confidence and fine motor skills as they worked.
Once everything was ready, we packed our own picnic items and set up a lovely space for our celebration. We also took part in several parachute games, laughing and working together as we explored different ways of moving, lifting and shaking the parachute - including throwing our teddies on top! What a lovely day :)
