Yesterday Year 2 embarked on a mountaineers journey up Snaefell to consolidate our learning about Mountains! We took the bus to Laxey and then travelled by tram up to the top of Snaefell, before walking to the summit! On the journey we learnt lots of facts about the landscape and the mines, we also saw The Laxey Wheel. While at the top we had special booklets to complete and we even got treated to a hot chocolate to warm us up, as it was a little windy at the top.
