Reception celebrates 80th VE Day

Reception have enjoyed a wonderful day of dressing up and celebrating 80 years since the first VE Day. We have spoken lots about why children needed to be evacuated and there was so many people celebrating because it affected everybody. We have made our own bunting and celebration pictures, learned the wartime songs which we joined in the whole school with and loved our afternoon picnic on the field after the walk out and back round to school to pretend to be evacuees.
