Year 4 The Great Bread Bake Off

Today Year 4 took part in The Great Bread Bake Off! Over the past few weeks for Design and Technology we have been exploring bread making - the process, the design, the shape and the flavours. Working in Teams the children had to develop a new bread. They came up with their own brand names, logos and slogans, as well as designing the shape their rolls would be and which flavours would go well together. Today they pulled everything together by baking their bread and designing their own packaging, thinking carefully about what needed to be included on it. Mrs Gravestock came up to judge each teams bread this afternoon and gave them feedback!
