The children in 4C enjoyed getting to grips with finding 1, 10, 100 and 1000 more or less today. Mrs Callister had planned to take the children outside for this challenge, but the weather was not on her side today! However, being inside worked even better as the children could use a range of resources (not always maths equipment, as you will see in the photos) to show their understanding of this small step in maths. It was lovely to see the collaboration between the children and how engaged they were. Also their creativity was brilliant! Quote of the day - 'This is the best maths lesson ever!'
