INTEGRITY - RESPECT - ENDEAVOUR - COMPASSION - COURAGE
Tucked away in St. Johns is a beautiful garden that was created in 2018. Blein yn Ellan Ain Garden was a celebration of the Island and an appreciation of what makes the Isle of Man a special place, as seen through the eyes of the Island’s children. Seventeen primary schools from across the Island originally created the garden, based on their interpretation of the environment around them and what makes the Island such a special place to live and go to school in. We were invited to regenerate our garden plot to tie in with UNESCO Biosphere Week. We used our Onchan emblem at the main theme of our plot, incorporating the colours of the emblem and key components. The children did a fantastic job with their gardening and crafting!
