Reception have been having a wonderful time today to bring our Nursery Rhyme Week to an end! We started by sharing all of our favourite nursery rhymes and costumes. We then did a performance for the school — another chance to build our confidence, practise performing in front of others and showcase all of the nursery rhymes we have been learning together.
Throughout the day, we have been enjoying lots of nursery rhyme themed activities including singing, storytelling, crafts and games inspired by some of our favourite rhymes. The children loved joining in with actions, retelling familiar rhymes and celebrating a special week of learning together.
