Parent Information
This term we will continue to learn about our school values and discuss how we can be a 'good friend' and how our actions can affect others. The children have made a great start to their phonics learning and we will now continue to build on the Phase 2 sounds from last term, and start learning the trickier Phase 3 sounds which mostly includes digraphs - 2 letters that make one sound e.g. ai. Please continue to listen to your child read and go through the phonics books and will start to see the huge progress they have made from the start of the year already! This has a huge impact on their confidence and overall development, so thank you.
