Fireman Visitor in Year 1

Year 1 were very lucky to meet our Fire Inspection officer today. He came in to talk to us about our current topic, The Great Fire of London. He also explained different aspects of the fire department to us and showed us his uniform. We had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and thoroughly enjoyed quizzing him about his job! His name is David and he has definitely inspired lots of our young people in year 1. Many thanks to Douglas Fire Department for supporting our learning and talking all things fire safety.
