Year 3 have been working really hard with our learning and implementing our thinking moves. Last half-term we focused on letter writing in Literacy and connected this learning to our SDG's, specifically on SDG 14 surrounding keeping the ocean safe. At the end of the half-term we reflected on our learning about letters and created letters to His Majesty the King. We connected our literacy learning and topic learning and told him how we've been learning about his relatives from the Tudor and the Victorian period! We also let him know all about Onchan School turning 150 and how excited we are for the celebrations. We can't wait to (hopefully!) hear back from him!
