We have had great fun in Reception becoming Jungle Explorers! The children discovered lots of fascinating facts about jungle animals and explored the difference between animals that live in the jungle and those that live in the savannah. They enjoyed comparing habitats, thinking about how animals adapt to their environment, and learning about features such as camouflage and diet.
Our young explorers got creative by making monkey and tiger masks, designing their own binoculars to help them spot animals high on the canopies and tangled vines, and even searching for sneaky snakes hidden in the water! We also shared jungle themed stories! It has been a wonderful couple of weeks full of curiosity and adventure.
