ONCHAN SCHOOL

INTEGRITY - RESPECT - ENDEAVOUR - COMPASSION - COURAGE

What a wonderful afternoon Year 6 enjoyed with Burma Veteran James Fenton. The children were captivated as they listened to his stories, the lessons he learned, and the sacrifices he and others made. As part of their topic on War, Year 6 have been studying World War II, so it was a real privilege to hear his first-hand accounts. The pupils had also prepared thoughtful questions about the Burma Campaign, which led to a deeply moving and inspirational discussion.
