Today, Year 1 had a special visitor – PC Lou! The children were excited to learn all about what police officers do and how they help keep us safe. PC Lou explained the different types of officers and shared the tools they use, like radios and handcuffs.
The children got to try on police uniform, and everyone had a turn wearing the hat and jacket. The excitement grew when they were shown a real police car, and the sirens were turned on – it was thrilling!
PC Lou also reminded the children that in an emergency, they should call 999 for help. It was a fun and informative visit, and the children learned a lot about the important work of the police. Thank you, PC Lou!
