Introducing...Starry Starry Starlight and Coral, our two dolphins for The Big Splash 2022!
Over the last few weeks, we have had a very busy and exciting time coming up with the designs and names for our two dolphins for this year's Big Splash Campaign in aid of Hospice. We had a very tough decision picking the final designs to be painted onto the dolphins, in the end we loved Bo Whitehead's and Lola Jennings' (Y6) joint creation of Vincent Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night', which Miss Bridson tried her best to recreate! The second dolphin was a culmination of some super designs by Kenth Colcol (Y6), Ellie Corlett (Y6), Tia Priestnal (Y5), Marni Dixon (Y4) and Jossi Proudfoot (Y3). Mrs Shimmin Munk very cleverly brought all of the designs together and the School Councillors and two of our talented Y6 artists Emma Hill and Noah Lyle, helped to paint on the dolphin. We are really proud of our dolphins and the work and creativity all of the children in the school put in during this very rewarding process! We can't wait to see the dolphins when they are out on display on the dolphin trail!
