Welcome to the Specialist Provision Centre at Onchan School
Within our SPC we currently have 3 classes named the Sea Otters, Seals and Whales Classes. Children are carefully placed into the classroom space that best suits their own individual needs and learning styles.
We are fortunate to have a team of Senior Education Support Officers and Education Support Officers who work alongside the 2 Specialist Provision Centre teachers to create bespoke curriculums for each of the children within our setting.

Welcome to Onchan School. If you are reading this, we hope that you are going to be joining our Specialist Provision Centre here at our fabulous Onchan School. School is something really good. It’s a place where we make friends, have lots of fun and do lots of really brilliant things. We also become really good at learning and everyone who comes here becomes a 'Learning Hero'

Transition Support for Children
We appreciate transitioning to primary school can be a huge milestone for all of our children. To support your child on their journey to school we have created some welcome videos from our staff team. We have also created a social story about starting school. Prior to your child starting with us the SPC manager will visit them at their pre-school setting to get to know them and communicate with their pre-school teachers. If you are worried about your child's transition, please do not hesitate to contact us.
