Writing
This week we would like you to write a diary, this can then be shared when it is safe to come back to school. We would like you to challenge yourself to write one sentence each day about your favourite thing you have done that day and then draw a picture to go with this. If you would like to carry this on for the next few weeks please do!
* Don't forget that you can access all sound mats and tricky word mats on our original home learning page - your child should have access to these to support their writing.
Phonics
This week we'd like you to recap the following sounds in Phase 3 - ‘ai’, ‘ee’, ‘igh’, ’oa’ and ‘oo’. Check out these videos and see if you can blend the sounds in each word.

Maths
This week we are looking at numbers 11-20.
Below are some 'All About Number...' worksheets. These don't need to be printed off - you could ask your child the questions and have them draw the answer or show the answer with physical objects.
Number 11 Number 12 Number 13 Number 14 Number 15 Number 16 Number 17 Number 18 Number 19 Number 20
Below you can find an activity for counting objects to 20. This is a resource which we originally posted on the main home learning page for Foundation Stage but we know need to look at this in greater depth. There are several worksheets to have a go at. Practise makes perfect - just like Elma Elephant says!
You could practise counting and number recognition with your child by playing Snakes & Ladders. Here is a copy of the game with the board up to 20. If you don't have access to a printer you can also make your own version :)
Here are links to the Numberblocks videos for each number.

Topic
This week we would be starting our learning about Rainforests. With a grown we would like you to watch some videos and find out about what it's like in the Amazon Rainforest. You could even see if you could find out where the Amazon Rainforest is on a map or on Google Earth! The link below might help you to get started with your learning...
