Onchan School

"Learning is a journey, to be taken together, one step at a time."

Onchan School is a very special place to be.

Everyone who works here is immensely proud of what we are achieving each day but there is no-one more proud than I am to be a part of a hard working team, that is working together to make a difference to the education of the pupils who come here.

Our pupils are at the heart of everything that we do and we are delighted that so many incredibly positive comments are made about the self confidence, tolerance and positive behaviour of them all.

Onchan School is at the very centre of the community in which it stands. It is one of the biggest Primary Schools on the Island and there is always a tremendous amount going on! It really is an excellent place to be.

We are successfully fostering excellent relationships between home, school and our local community in a way that is beneficial for all.

Being at Onchan is all about celebrating so many things:

• High standards

• Working together

• Developing independence

• Understanding the significance of our place in the community and on the Island

• Celebrating an enjoyment of learning in an exciting, purposeful and creative way.

We are proud that we are successfully achieving these goals and our school is a “Simply Stunning” place to be!

Enjoy finding out more about our school. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
