INTEGRITY - RESPECT - ENDEAVOUR - COMPASSION - COURAGE
The children had a wonderful time exploring Molly Corrooin's Cottage in Onchan and learning about what life was like for Molly (Anne) many years ago. They explored the different artefacts within the cottage and made links to their previous learning about washing clothes, including using a dolly peg, scrubbing board and mangle. The children were fascinated by how people lived in the past and asked lots of thoughtful questions as they compared life then to life now. They especially enjoyed looking around the cottage and imagining what daily life would have been like many years ago.
